MBA is a highly sought after course since last 20 years in India, it comes in variety of sub types and flavors ! If you are in a deciding phase, choose your specialisation on basis of your interests, aptitude, personality traits, favorite subjects and aspirations. And choose you b-school if it has excelled in Curriculum: It must be based on industry consultations. Teaching pedagogy: Must be focused on practicals, experiential learning techniques are the best. Infrastructure: Must to support the highly demanding programme. Student diversity: To develop right cross culture sensibilities and international networking. Technology training: Tech like SAP, Github etc. Are must to improve employability. Entrepreneurship projects: To proficiency on multitasking and managing profit centers. Hello, I did my MBA from Lovely Professional University and I give you a big YES to join LPU for MBA. There are multiple reasons to join LPU. I will share my experience in detail as follows : Placements : 80-90% of students got placed on the campus with top companies like Asian paints, HDFC banks coming to select students. The top package was 15 Lacs, the average was 5.5 Lacs and the lowest is 3 Lacs. 60-70% of the students got placed in internships with big companies like Amazon visiting for internships drives. The top roles offered were marketing head and sales manager. Placement cell try to bring more company every year. Our senior has already placed in good MNCs. The highest package offered to them is 14 LPA. Federal bank offered 10 LPA this year. And it had came first time lpu for recruiting. Average placement here is 3.5 LPA to 4LPA. MRF TYRES, COLGATE PALMOLIVE, AMAZON, ITC are the top MNC visit here. Infrastructure : The facilities are world-class and the infrastructure is quite impressive. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus and classrooms are digitally advanced and libraries are really helpful to get the study material. Hostel food in mess, as well as canteen food, is average and the medical facilities are quite good with sports activities being held quite frequently. Lpu has great infrastructure and other facilities in the campus like university-hospital, Mall, 50+ ATMs, Banks, well established classrooms and libraries. All the classrooms has ACs and fans. Lpu also provide gym facilities to the students who are conscious about their fitness. I don't know much about IIBS-Bangalore Both places are doing good in the education sector. I passed out in 2019 from the LPU (CSE BRANCH). I had a lot of my friends who completed their MBA from LPU. As per their feedback and experience of MBA in LPU. LPU is one of the best places in the country to pursue an MBA. MBA programme comes under Mittal School of Business which is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA). The highest Package in MBA last year was 21 Lacs per annum and the average package was 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. Faculty in MBA department is well-experienced and have expert knowledge who work on skill enhancement of students. There are lots of career opportunities after MBA in different areas. The university also gives the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something as professionals would require in career. Guest lectures by experts and some successful people are arranged by the department to widen the scope of learning. Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty is really helping. Even they helped after regular university hours for her projects. Entrepreneurship projects are integral part of curriculum and help establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs.
