Which one should I prefer for an LL.B: Faculty of Law, Allahabad University or IMS Law College and why?

First of all, I think the fact that IMS Law College is comparatively new and a private college gives an edge to Faculty of law, Allahabad University which is a centralised government university. Now, let us discuss pros and cons of both colleges. Pros of Faculty of law, Allahabad University are the faculty and alumni basis which includes many chief justice of India and prominent lawyers. Another pro is the fact that you can intern with some phenomenally well lawyer in Allahabad high court and if you are going for litigation, it can be a good choice. Faculty of law, Allahabad University is a Central University, which has a good reputation for producing some very good lawyers like Prashant Bhushan and some of the former Chief Justices of India like, J. S. Verma, V. N. Khare, Kamal Narain Singh and Mohammad Hidayatullah.
