Which one should I prefer for M.J.M.C. : Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University or Institute of Management Studies, Noida and why?.

Hello, If you have only these two options to pursue Masters in journalism and mass communication course then I would like to vote for Institute of Management Studies, Noida because today, employer seems to be very interested in those candidates who are stone with the graduation from the regular mode. This makes me also to say that getting admission in an open university is not going to help you in the long run. Hence doing regular course from IMS is good. Doing MJMC course from IMS, Noida (affiliated to Chaudhry Charan Singh University, Meerut) helps you to get wider chances to get placed at very good profile in a good company. You can work as a Public Relations officer, Communication executive, social media executive, teacher-lecture, Communication manager, etc. After that you can also work as a research assistant by doing PhD in this field. Hope this helps.

IMS, Noida is the reputed Institute of Management Studies, Noida and UPRTO is in Allahabad and is primarily an open university offering distance learning as well as open education. Without any doubt about the credentials of the open university, I must not hesitate in putting a strong view in support of IMS, Noida. IMS is an established professional education institution and has a long standing in the industry. The advantage certainly is to their mass communication courses where the placement record of the institute (from all streams) supports bright careers. There are add-on courses to make MJMC more meaningful and capable of careers in varied streams of media. Besides, recruiters with IMS, Noida have a big name and can accommodate Post-Graduation degree holders from the institute.
