The Bombay Flying Club is the oldest flying club in India and is the same flying club where Mr. JRD Tata, India's first commercial pilot, got his flying license from. Currently located in Dhule, 100 kms north of Nashik, it has its own airstrip and boasts a variety of aircrafts and a control tower as well as state of the art flight simulators and classrooms for teaching students the ground part required to become a commercial pilot. Bombay flying club is perhaps the oldest such institute in the country. It is based in Juhu in Mumbai. Many legends associated with Aviation in India are its alumni. Its impeccable pedigree gives a lot of confidence to anybody who enters this hallowed flying club. Madhya Pradesh flying club was set up just after Independence and specifically after formation of Madhya Pradesh. It's located in the Industrial hub of Madhya Pradesh, Indore.
