    GATE 2025 exam pattern has been released by IIT Roorkee. GATE 2025 exam had a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks were of General Aptitude (GA). In the papers bearing the codes AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, IN, ME, MN, MT, PI, TF and XE, the General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics will carry around 28% of the total marks and the remaining 72% of the total marks is devoted to the subject of the paper. In the papers bearing the codes AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, XH and XL, the General Aptitude section will carry 15% of the total marks and the remaining 85% of the total marks

    GATE examination is conducted across India. It tests the comprehensive understanding of several undergraduate subjects in engineering and Science for admission into the Masters programme and a job in Public Sector Companies. It is important to note that with 70% of the total marks, the technical section holds the highest number of marks in any subjects question paper.
