    Well, this is difficult to answer, Although in B.Tech one pursues the following specializations:
    Computer Science and Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering. Mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering. Civil Engineering. Chemical Engineering. Biochemical / Biomedical Engineering. Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering. But to my advise one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges.     No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. SEE there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, SO if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed.
