In the revised CLAT exam pattern implemented since 2020, the CLAT UG exam no longer includes sections on Elementary Mathematics as a separate section. Instead, it has been replaced by Quantitative Techniques, which integrates math-based reasoning questions, primarily focused on data interpretation, graphs, and simple arithmetic concepts.

Additionally, static legal knowledge questions have been removed from the Legal Aptitude section. The emphasis has shifted from prior legal knowledge to legal reasoning, where candidates must analyze provided passages to answer legal questions without requiring pre-existing legal knowledge.
