    Hello Himanshu,
    Lateral admissions are controlled by the respective states for seats in their states. Some states conduct entrance exams while some like Maharashtra base their process on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Each state will have its own list of colleges in demand. As you have not mentioned your state, I can't answer, but you will get an answer on the "Shiksha" webpage.

    All Government College of engineering in mechanical engineering they are taking Diploma based students in second year and private college are also taking.
