Which university among Chandigarh University, LPU and Chitkara should I prefer for a Bachelors in agriculture?

Career in Agriculture is one of the largest industries and a good source of employment across the country. Agriculture also plays a vital role in Indian economy. It promotes the efficient production of quality food in the agricultural-food industry & on the farm linked to the farming. Though all the universities are good in terms of academic structure but being an alumni of LPU let me explain the things in detail. LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation. In addition to the regular course work, especially designed practical courses like Hands on training, Practical crop production, Rural and Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), Nursery raising for horticulture crops, Crop And SEED Identification Laboratory, Soil And Water Sampling And Analysis, Soil Description And Interpretation Discipline Highlights: Agriculture laboratory, Organic And Chemical Fertilizer, Manure Identification And Application Laboratory, Introductory Nematology, Disease Of Horticultural Crops And Their Management, Practical Floriculture And Vegetable Crop Production Laboratory, Bio-Safety Rules And Intellectual Property Rights are offered to promote practical implication of various courses which train students for industry. Students are exposed to Commercial farms (100 acres) to know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. They were also engaged in complete cultivation practice of seasonal crops for 6 months, wherein land preparation till harvesting and marketing of the final products will be done by student to expose farming experience. Profit earned by selling solely shared by students of a group. The highest numbers of PhDs as faculty members are enrolled in School of Agriculture faculty members throughout the LPU university. These experienced faculty members mostly engaged in consultancy, research and publication to add immense value to the academic life. Sharing life-based experience and suggesting personality development steps time to time. Placement Insight includes: Due to ICAR accreditation large numbers of companies are visiting the campus. More than 44, 46 and 43 renowned firms and industries are on board for on campus and off campus drive in 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively. Hi, B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate professional course offered by various government and private universities in India. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. Course fees are also considerably lower than other professional degrees while rewarding good jobs and a better package. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years B.Sc. You should definitely go for Chandigarh University. As Chandigarh University is ranked among the Asia's the fastest growing university. They have excellent records in placements and they also provide scholarships also. Abroad opportunities are also there. Chandigarh University is the best private University in north india in terms of placements, hostels, education etc. I hope you find your answer. All the very best.

Hi, based on my experience I would recommend Chandigarh University for Bachelors in agriculture. With the advent of technology, Agriculture in India is now largely a blend of traditional knowledge refined over years coupled with growing mechanization.
