For any agriculture-related course, I would prefer and recommend Chandigarh University. I believe one should not limit the options available for higher education based on the location as it could restrict various career growth opportunities that you could get at an educational institute in another state. Hence, I would recommend Chandigarh university as it is the best with Excellent academic, research as well as placement. NAAC has graded it as an A+ university. Also, it is the youngest private university to get ranked by NIRF. Chandigarh University Punjab is ranked among the Leading Best Educational institutions in Northern India. CUC

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.
