Being a alumni of this University, I would like to answer your query, First of all my experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. Thee best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. So no need to worry about faculty member or professors at LPU. Thank you!

All the faculty of the Mechanical Department at Chandigarh University are well qualified and experienced (Academic as well as industry experience). Experts from the summer exchange programme prove to be the bonus in providing knowledge to their students. Also, they all have friendly nature to deal with every student.

I have many friends from LPU and CU but what I conclude is LPU innovative teaching makes LPU faculty more appreciating. My cousin is doing B.Tech from the same stream at LPU and his views enhance my knowledge on the same topic. LPU faculty members are well trained and they are experts. They are just not faculty members but mentors to students. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, Iims and NIIT's as well. Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. The faculty of LPU, updated with the latest methods of pedagogy (teaching) help turn students into a finished product with high market demand, yet with a social conscience and urge to contribute and give back. In comparison to another college, I believe LPU faculty is highly qualified. Students get to learn through live projects and experiments. Promoting experiential learning, students at LPUs Department of Mechanical Engineering have developed driverless cars, solar-powered bus and all this gets done with students' hard work and faculty guidance. Faculty plays an instrumental role in the development of the students. Faculty must have the traits like subject knowledge, communication skills and empathy. These are the pre-requisites for becoming a good teacher. And Chandigarh University is having the faculty members who are bagged with these qualities. These things are evaluated at the initial stages of the selection process. No doubt, LPU is older than CU but is doesn't mean the faculty members of CU are less experienced than the LPU. Even the Faculty turnover ratio is more in LPU which clearly shows, every year number of new faculty members join and more than that number leave also. If I specifically talk about Mechanical engineering department, I do have some faculty members whom I personally know who are working in that department from last 2 years only but they all are in their 40s and are doctorate as well.
