Hostel in Chandigarh university is much more safer than any other University with ultimate facilities and security. Hostels of Chandigarh university provides feel like home enviorment. The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and CU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. Their are students of all races, communities, cultures, tradition, countries etc. Studying here in the university from all over India and the world. With quality education, CU provides good holistic development of the students to tackle the corporate world and achieve ones dream. The rules and regulations are very tough in the campus. If someone found doing any kind misbehave inside the campus, strict action is taken by the management against the person. This University have stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University have Centralized Security Control Room with CCTV cameras all around the university. Hostelers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards and CCTVs so no loop holes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specific hostels in specified time duration 7 pm, and they cannot come out the hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till night. NO OUTSIDERS is allowed in the university without a GATE pass. Meaning even if parents of students come for visit, they have the access to university through GATE pass only. Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. No boys are allowed to enter the girls hostel at any point of time. If girls enter after the time they are asked to list their name in the late entry register, which is further asked by the wardens during attendance, which is taken regularly. In case of health issues also, they can call ambulance at anytime, and are taken to the hospital with the assistance of the warden. This university has taken every step to prevent it from happening, which has made sure that no such activity takes place inside the university. From security checks at the main gates, hostels and strict rules and regulations and proper surveillance. Like this university and all other universities, institutions have taken a step against it to eradicate this problem and aware people of the same.

Amongst these two, Chandigarh University, CU has the safer hostel for girls. They have 24/7 Security and in the girls hostel they only have female security guards. The students are allowed day outs and Night outs only with the permission of the Guardian/Parent. The hostel has 24/7 medical facility and most importantly unlike other hostels, the warden stays inside the hostel to closely monitor the safety of the girls around the clock. All emergency services are inside the university campus itself and transport services are also available for the students for Day and Night outs.

Chandigarh University hostel is better than any university or colleges girls hostel I have ever heard. There are 3 girls hostel in Chandigarh University. Hostel rooms are very nice along with Wi-Fi connections. And all other facilities are provided like hot water, cold water 24/7, coolers for summers, gym, TV room, mess, proper cupboards for every single students, shelfs and chairs for self-study purpose etc. Talking about rules and regulations; it is very basic and simple. The gates of hostel will be closed after 7 pm, Breakfast time = 7:30 am to 9 am, Lunch time = 12 pm to 2 pm, Tea break = 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Dinner time = 7:30 pm to 9 pm, Non veg ( Chicken) is also provided on Wednesday. Students must dine in their respective hostel messes, Girls are allowed for outing on weekends (and weekdays as well) by getting your out pass signed by warden, You can order food from campus and outside anytime, Entry into the hostel will be through Identity cards, Drinking and smoking is prohibited in hostels as well as in campus, Use of electronic gadgets like electric rods, iron, tape recorder, radio etc. Is not allowed, Students can choose their own roommates and make request for allotment, Cooking is not allowed in hostel, Guests are not permitted to reside in hostel without proper permission of warden, Roll call of hostel residents will be taken daily within 15 minutes after the hostel closing time, Absence from hostel for the whole night is only allowed if youve taken permission from the hostel warden, The students are allowed to leave the hostel on holidays after putting the necessary entry.

The protection and welfare of their children is the most common of parents. The safety and security of CU are well known. At the entrance to the hostels there are electric gates but nobody is allowed into the hostel. Studying from all over India and the world here at the University. With high-quality learning, CU provides students with a positive holistic growth for tackling the business world. The laws and regulations on campus are very tough. If someone finds himself committing some sort of misconduct inside the campus, the administration takes stern measures against him. The Centre, with CCTV cameras in the university, has central safety control room. With high walls, barbed cables, security guards and chronicler, the university is guarded absolutely so that no loop hole can be sneaked from. In the designated time frame, girls must enter their own hostels at 7 p. m. and they cannot leave the hostels because boys are permitted to attend their university before night. In a college without a GATE pass, NO OUTSIDERS is permitted. And if students' parents attend, they have only GATE entry to the University. Any public crime in the University is certainly not tolerated and stringent precautions against such an offence are taken. At no point are boys permitted to enter the hostel. When girls insert their names after the period that they are requested to list them in the late entry registry, which is requested by the guardians periodically during the attendance. They can also call an ambulance at any time in case of health issues and are brought to the hospital with warden's help. The university took all steps to discourage it, and ensured that no other incident took place in the university. Security controls and careful monitoring at the main entrances, hostels, and laws. Like this University and every other university, organisations have taken steps to address it and to remove it. The hostel fees are also relatively less than in other universities. Undoubtedly, Chandigarh University is safer than any other university for girls. CU has 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance. No boy is allowed to enter a girls hostel. Even if security sees any boy misbehaving with a girl, that boy will be sued by UMC. No girl is allowed to go out of college without informing their parents. Girls are sent inside hostels by 6:30pm and after that no one is allowed to exit out of the hostel. All the things required for them will be available inside the hostel itself. Food, necessary things etc. Everything will be inside the hostel itself. There are 3 girls hostels in Chandigarh University. Hostel rooms are very nice along with Wi-Fi connections. Having been a part of LPU I must say that security at LPU campus is without any doubt one of the best. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. The University has its very own fire station department, fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. All these combined efforts make LPU campus one of the safest one.

Today protection of girls is also issue in studies. So good safety is required for girl students in hostel. CU definitely focus on this issue, and many security guards are surrounded by the hostel buildings, Women wardens are also there to inspect the girl student rooms, CCTV cameras are arranged to have full notice on hostel environment of girl students. .
