When we talk about B.Tech in CSE, students mostly look for good placements, modern labs, quality education and updated syllabus. All three universities – Apeejay Stya University, Chandigarh University and Manav Rachna University offer CSE courses, but there are some differences.

Manav Rachna University: It has decent faculty and good labs, but the placements are mostly average. Some students get placed in good companies but not at a large scale.

Apeejay Stya University: It is still growing. The campus is smaller and placements are not that strong.

Chandigarh University: The university is really amazing. The programme is glob

There are many reasons for that like, Computer Science engineering (CSE) deals with the design, implementation, and administration of both software and hardware processes in information systems. The Computer Science & Engineering department here benefits a lot from the university's global recognition. Chandigarh University is the only private university in Punjab that holds both ABET and NBA accreditations, which means the engineering programs follow global quality standards. This makes the B.E. degree valid and respected not just in India but abroad too.

In 2025, CU was ranked #231 in QS World University Rankings by Subject for Engineering & Technology—a sign of academic excellence and curriculum quality. The department updates its courses regularly to match industry trends like AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and more. Faculty me

See every university is doing theire best in terms of ranking, research, accredations etc. but I would suggest Chandigarh University. The CSE department's placement and training system is one of its the biggest strengths. During the last placement session, over 900+ companies visited the university, offering thousands of jobs, with the highest package for a CSE student being INR 54.75 LPA, and an international offer reaching INR 1.7 Crore.

But this doesn't happen by chance. The department starts pre-placement training from the 3rd semester itself. Students are guided in aptitude, coding practice, group discussions, and interviews. There
