Civil Engineering is a good course and Chandigarh University is best for pursuing this course. They believe in hand on experience and the curriculum is also extensive. Expert Talks and filed visits also help the students to get the better exposure.

-NAAC A+ accreditation and Best placement records.

Chandigarh University is better for civil engineering if you compared it with another institute. Chandigarh University has NAAC A+ accreditation which puts a great impact on student's degree and students of Chandigarh university also get various opportunity to show their talent in various fields, as Chandigarh University has various departments for the students to build their students career bright say TPP, TBI etc.

For Civil Engineering, prefer Chandigarh University over DAV university, Jalandhar because CU is better in terms of pedagogy followed and campus placement provided to the students. The Department of Civil Engineering at Chandigarh University commenced with a mission to become a Center of Excellence that facilitates high-end research at par with industry challenges and raise computer Science engineers with high-technical competencies and it certainly is driven in the right direction. NAAC A+ accreditation gives it more credence.

I would suggest Chandigarh University for civil engineering. Chandigarh University holds Limca Book of World Records for the highest number of placements and recently, it also got awarded as the university with best placements award by WCRC. Bonus to this, Chandigarh University is the first private university to get NAAC A+ certified in the first cycle. Definitely go for it.
