UID stands for Unitedworld institute of design, which is a constituent college of The reputed Karnavati University in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. There is a misconception in many people's mind thinking it to be a part of some other college/University or a Separate course. Actually UID is the biggest brand and has brought a revolutionary change in the design education in India. If you are lucky enough to get a chance in UID, then do it without giving a second thought to it.

The full form of UID is Unitedworld Institute of Design which is very much a constituent wing of Karnavati University located at Gandhinagar Gujarat. UID is a brand in education world and not at all a part of any other University.
