Hello, Lovely Professional University is better than others in terms of Placements. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Nothing comes close to LPU in placements, with more than 600 companies to campus for recruitment and offering not only fabulous packages but also great job roles it is at the pole position by a huge margin. Many companies such as Trident group offered more than 15 lacs per annum to Biotech students. And this is just one example, there are hundreds of these as alumni settled all across the world with great careers. All this is possible because LPU designs its curriculum dynamically according to industry input and feedback. Also it ensures that the programme delivery is done using the experiential learning pedagogy. There are host of other initiatives like centers of excellence set up by industry, center for professional enhancement, industry interface, entrepreneurship projects, extra curricular activities etc. Which contribute in making it happen. On the basis of feedback from the Alumni's of Biotechnology LPU, they told that School of Bioengineering & Biosciences, under Lovely Faculty of Technology & Sciences is successfully conducting pass and honors undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering Botany and Zoology. Fields under study are: Molecular Genetics Bioprocess engineering. Bioprocess calucations, Biomaterial, Plant tissue culture, Animal Tissue culture and Biomaterial Genetic engineering Genetic counselling.
