    Hello there,

When it comes to placements in Chemistry, especially for fields like BSc, MSc, or even applied chemistry specializations, LPU definitely has a strong edge over Amity, Chitkara, and Chandigarh University. What I really like about LPU is that it doesn't treat Chemistry as just a theoretical subject—the university actually connects the curriculum with industrial applications. So, whether you're aiming for roles in pharmaceuticals, quality control, R\&D, or even teaching and government labs, LPU creates pathways to explore all those options.

Placement-wise, LPU's School of Chemical Sciences has built some really solid tie-ups

Dear Poonam. LPU, Amity, Chitkara, and Chandigarh University are good. My cousin did B.Sc. In Chemistry from LPU. So, I am sharing the details of LPU with you. This course at LPU has been designed to have insight in almost all the aspects of Chemistry and to build a solid foundation in the subject to choose a career in industry/academics or research. Also, the course provides a good measure of flexibility and gives choices to select electives. The syllabus very well covers the areas like water Chemistry consumer products-soaps, detergents, shampoos, skin preparations, polymer Chemistry drugs, industrially important chemicals- gases use

Institutions offering placements and practical applications for Chemistry can vary greatly. In my opinion, Chandigarh University was an excellent decision. The B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry programme is far beyond textbooks about Chemistry and provides a level of practical experience and laborartory applications itself. The features that impressed me the most are the hands-on lab training of techniques such as GC, HPLC, UV-IR, and Fluorescence Spectroscopy, developed through collaboration with Agilent, Synthimed, and Nexus.

Students are also able to participate at a national level with competitions, Science expos and international student chapte
