Chandigarh University is a full-fledged university established by the Punjab State Legislature and is recognised by University Grants Commission. Also, it is accredited by NAAC A+ grade. In terms of placements, this university has remarkable records.

Chandigarh University is better in all terms in comparison to LPU, Amity or chitkara. It is a NAAC A+ accredited University. It offers: -World-class infrastructure -well-equipped Labs and facilities. -highly qualified faculty members who are PhDs and postdocs 100% campus placements.

It has great link ups with the top companies who hires the students giving them handsome salary package. Also, many students of the university are placed in government sector, teachers.

I am not particularly aware of amity, chitkara or Chandigarh University for their Chemistry programme but as per my findings I must say that the Chemistry offers huge scope to candidates who have pursued degree in B.Sc. And M.Sc. Chemistry. They can opt for a teaching job as a professor or a teacher. They can also work as Pharmaceutical Companies, Laboratories, Research Centers, Medical Colleges, private clinics, etc. The employment areas for the M.Sc. Chemistry graduates also include pharmaceutical industries, chemical manufacturers, forensic Science department, plastic industries, agrochemical industries, etc. Apart from these, they are also recruited in other fields such as oil, gas, and power sectors and even in defense services. Although there have been a number of Universities that offers this course but one must understand its importance before pursuing this course from a reputed University or college. I must advise, one can go for M.Sc. (Hons. ). Chemistry Duration : 2 years. The employment areas for the B.Sc. Chemistry graduates include pharmaceutical industries, chemical manufacturers, forensic Science department, plastic industries, agrochemical industries, etc. Apart from these, they are also recruited in other fields such as oil, gas and power sectors and even in defense. Though all the universities are good in terms of academic structure but being an alumni let me explain the things in detail. The salient features of the programme is One Term Research Project Pathways as per student interest and capability Pathway on computer programming Analytical and Communication Inputs Skill enhancement inputs Department Electives Open Electives/Open Minors as per interest of the student Students are fully acquainted with major aspects of chemical terminology. They are taught physicochemical principles with the ability to relate knowledge to the solution of theoretical and practical problems. The course also has introduced courses like computer skills, environmental studies and communication skills. According to me, LPU is good for those students who actually want to do study as they have well-furnished and equipped laboratories, they have almost every instrument which is needed in the advance practical work and knowledge implementation. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognised university or institution in Bachelors degree (any discipline + with Chemistry or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. With a minimum overall aggregate of 55% or more are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. Course Lovely Professional University is good University for pursuing M.Sc.
