Which university is better in terms of placement in UID-Interior design, LPU, amity, chitkara or Chandigarh University?

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is the largest and best private university in India, which offers a diverse range of courses. The placement record is 80 percent and above at UID. There are many students who opt for entrepreneurship or aims for Master degree in Design after completion of B. Des. Rest of the students opt for placements and are successfully placed. This is how the placement for UID works : The Career Service Department experts sit with the individual budding designers and discuss about their goals. Those interested in entrepreneurship are recommended for the entrepreneurship incubation center where the experts guide a student for a successful design project related to entrepreneurship/business. The campus interviews are organized by CSD department based on the demand of placements from the students. Adequate multinational and transnational brands are invited for campus recruitments. Most importantly, every students at UID go for their internships from reputed companies like Tata Motors, Raymond, GAS, Microsoft, Hamleys, Tanishq etc. The students get huge support from 15 soft skill training experts from the industry who teaches the students about business communication, presentation skills so that the students can sell their design ideas to their clients and the business negotiation skills, effective usage of communication tools and kinaesthetics. So definitely UID is a reputed college where you can take admission without giving a second thought and the Career Service Department of USD has an excellent track record of placements with prestigious brands.

I cant speak about others, But I am very confident about UID. The Career Service Department of UID is doing great job every year by bringing companies and brands like Reliance, Tata Motors, Arvind, Wrangler, Pepe, Giny and Johny, Raymonds, titan, Tanishq, Microsoft, Elephant design, GAS, CAS etc. , and many more reputed brands. More than 80 percent of the students are successfully placed every year with extra ordinary packages, Rest 20 percent of the students either go for entrepreneurship or for the Masters degree. UID offers M.Des also. Most importantly UID has a very good incubation centre which helps the budding designers to move ahead with entrepreneurship.

Secure Campus: LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 3600 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. Drugs free campus! Diversity: LPU has a diverse community of students and faculty, from 29 different states of India and 40+ different countries. So some percentage of student from Delhi also. UGC approval:Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for scholarship for most of the programmes. More than 30000 students have been awarded with scholarships worth Rs. 300+ crores in last 5 years.

Interior Design from LPU and has got campus placement in Pepperfry with a decent package. Being an LPU Alumni, I would recommend you Lovely Professional University, if you are so keen towards placements. LPU believes in holistic approach and preparing the students to such level that they are able to justify themselves at any interview platform. Though University provides ample opportunities through campus placements only, but still even if you would apply to any company as an out campus, you are trained enough to stand out at any platform. University has several connections for Live projects and internships too. LPU is the right option for interior design. The teaching methods adopted by the University are very innovative including maximum practical exposure and are dynamic enough to motivate the students to participate with full enthusiasm and enable higher retention of the course content, thus making the programmes overall more effective. Thee programme floats the electives such as: 1. INTERIOR AND FURNITURE 2. ANALYTICAL DRAWING-ART APPRECIATION 3. BUILDING MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION STUDIO 2 4. Computer Application University has several connections for Live projects and internships too. LPU provides very good placements at various brands at average salary of 5 Lacs P. A.

Undoubtedly, Chandigarh university is the best in terms of placement in UID-Interior design, as compare LPU, amity, chitkara. Students are placed in best companies Average package of 15 Lacs.
