Which university is better in terms of placement in UID-Interior design, LPU, amity, chitkara or Chandigarh University?

There are several career opportunities in interior designing from which one can choose, such as furniture designers, exhibition designer, lighting designers, kitchen designer, architect, architectural technologist, product designer textile designer, stylist, production designer. Though all the universities have a great academic structure but being an alumni let me just share the details. To be amongst the top 5 school of architecture, design and planning disciplines in India and the top 100 schools globally by 2025 by becoming a Centre of design excellence in academics, consultancy and research. Also the curriculum of the course is benchmarked against the most renowned institutions and the teaching is further strengthened through live design projects which help thorough assimilation of theoretical concepts. There are Seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. There is Emphasis on case studies and Case based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios
The department has Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to the academic life. We have faculty from IIT, NID, CEPT, NIFT etc. The highlights of the course are Extensive Furniture Design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full scale furniture pieces with understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength. Focus on application oriented teaching with live interior design projects, extensive modelling and field work. Students are exposed to real site situations through in-house and external visits for visual orientation. Uniform focus on presentation and working drawings. Emphasis on digital tools as well as physical modelling at every stage of design. Emphasis on sustainable design solution. Research based design projects.
100% placements are done every year in reputed firms. Training is also provided by the university to the students in reputed companies
