The lovely professional university is one of the best private un diversity for any agriculture course because it is the first private university to get ICAR accreditation and has been awarded for many reasons. The university has well-equipped labs, a library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facilities for agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork, and students are taken to field trips for training. Every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff. Moreover, there's a lot of exposure in terms of workshops, seminars, guest lectures, international tie-ups of LPU. And I read that eir agriculture student from LPU bagged a Package of 1 CRORE. LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, and many more. Students of Agriculture and Forestry had a research stay and an Edu-excursion Camp at TERI University New Delhi. Besides that LPU has exposure on a huge level and more opportunities. Both Places are doing well in the education sector. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages up to 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants, and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in the top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the School of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs. In order to infuse understanding on emerging problems and technologies involved in agriculture field visits are conducted to neighboring farms, orchards and nurseries. Not only subject related education is imparted but also the professional enhancement is added by the university through the different courses like soft skills and communication skills. Major Highlights of the programme that I would be highlighting over here are as follows: a)The course would impart knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts and techniques of maintaining and enhancing soil fertility, crop production, crop management, crop improvement, biodiversity and sustainability of agriculture worldwide. Scope of B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture is not limited to Domestic base rather its been accepted globally in different career aspect or profile like Corporate job, Government Job, Teaching, Research etc. Salary is competitive enough as it is unique field. Being an alumni of LPU, let me start my analysis based on the placement record parameter, Last year's Placement record of LPU (instead of Pandemic situation): 19.25 LPA (De Shaw) is the highest salary package till date, Placement session is still LIVE for the students. Huge number of Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Students are placed in the best brands like NESTLE INDIA LIMITED, BRITISH BIOLOGICALS, EBRO INDIA PVT LTD, SANRA ORGANICS, HINDUSTAN BEC TECH INDIA PVT LTD etc. In my Opinion Lovely Professional University will be the best option for pursuing B.Sc.
