    Unbiased review. I won't say which is the best college or not when compared to other government universities. If you are able to crack the government universities go with it. Being alumni of LPU, I will share something about the agriculture programme offered by LPU. LPU is the first private University in India that got ICAR accreditation by ICAR. There are some private colleges in Maharashtra also which you can admission through the payment as far I listened they are not up to mark.     For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. LPU is the better option for this programme, my sister did her B.Sc in Agriculture from LPU and currently working with a reputed organisation. In agriculture, Amity University but I must say that School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University which is FIRST PRIVATE SCHOOL to get accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).     I think LPU as per my research, Many of my friends are working there and I collected some data from them. LPU has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation.     Hi, LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.     LPU is certainly better among the two because of better placements, better academics, campus life, exposure, infrastructure, etc. Also, the agricultural courses at LPU is ICAR certified.

LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
