Which university is better to pursue B.Sc. In agriculture, Amity University or Lovely Professional University?

Unbiased review. I won't say which is the best college or not when compared to other government universities. If you are able to crack the government universities go with it. Being alumni of LPU, I will share something about the agriculture programme offered by LPU. LPU is the first private University in India that got ICAR accreditation by ICAR. There are some private colleges in Maharashtra also which you can admission through the payment as far I listened they are not up to mark. When coming to faculty in LPU most of the faculty will be Ph.D. candidates they are good at teaching and very helpful for the students. Unlike government universities, faculty's cannot skip the lectures in Lpu. At the end of the semester, faculty need to cover the skipped lectures too by conducting extra makeup classes. Research work is not up to mark in Lpu as lpu started Agriculture recently as B.Sc. Agriculture concerned it won't effect much. Placements - LPU is trying to get placements. Companies visited are Tata Rallis, NCDEX, dhanuka, smur Agro, Pragya, Reliance etc. , UPL But don't come to LPU expecting placements not everyone will get placed this is the same scenario in government universities also. But lpu trains you for placements by conducting placement classes. It will train your for Group discussions and personal interview and will focus on improving your communication skills and reducing your state fear which most government also doesn't teach like Lpu. Lpu also conducts classes for the students who want to prepare for Masters from 3rd year onwards. In Lpu you can do internships, job from the final year onwards unlike other government universities. For government universities you are not allowed from 4th year. You can do a job/ internship from the 4th year itself. Diversity will be more in Lpu you can make friends from almost all states and few countries too. When diversity is concerned no university in India can beat LPU. In future, we are expecting lpu will get more placements due to more diversity which the company recruiters need. Lab and file work is also good. There is student organizations in Agriculture also AGRINIANS and agros you can also join in it for developing your skills. LPU is just like the more REAP the more you get. Good luck!

For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. Hi, LPU is well known for its B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream, as most of the work is fieldwork, every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff. If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I want to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks.

LPU is certainly better among the two because of better placements, better academics, campus life, exposure, infrastructure, etc. Also, the agricultural courses at LPU is ICAR certified.
