For admission, there are lots of factors to be considered such as placement, appropriate labs and facilities available for a particular course you have opted, Fee structure, Curriculum, Internship and placement and many more. I have come across lot many students, who are alumni of both LPU and SRM. If I talk specifically about B.Sc. Hotel Management Course, I have seen a good practical approach by Lovely Professional University towards the course. They have updated curriculum as per the industry requirement and most importantly a good internship and placement. I have come across one of the alumni of LPU, who was my studen

LPU is a better option as it has a separate unit for HM. Whereas, SRM has its part of the lab structure. LPU also has larger collaboration for training and internship, plus in LPU you will find more and qualified faculty for the same.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
