Which university is the best among LPU and SRM to pursue B.Sc in hotel management?

LPUs hotel management school trains its students in the campus hotel named University Hotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gadgets. We have four training restaurants to teach students about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. LPU labs are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. I am an alumnus of LPU, I can talk about LPU, Let me share a few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have a few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Placement: Good placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, JET Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc. Package: Six students were offered the package of Rs 8 Lacs by Carnival Cruise last year. Hi, Professionals with hospitality experience are still in demand in the hospitality industry. 5-star hotels, aviation, retail, shopping centers, culinary arts, cruise liners, concierge, restaurants, and other businesses usually take these. For middle management and leadership positions, starting salaries for hotel managers are in the region of INR 30,000 to 40,000 depending on the location and size of the hotel. In India, general managers earn, on average, 85,000 with a range of 50,000 to 2,00,000 or more for the largest, most prestigious hotels. LPU is one of the best options for Hotel management as it has the Best facilities, infrastructure, and equipment. The most significant point is LPU has its HOTEL within the campus for prolonged practical exposure. LPU makes sure that before you pass the degree, you have done ample internships/projects in the industry that you don't find it challenging to adapt to highly demanding jobs later on. The teaching pedagogy of the college must be practical-oriented. The course must include training on the relevant software like Fidelio. If you are seeking admission in a college for B.Sc in hotel management, then I would like to suggest SRM, as the first preference. It is the best option in every context, whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. LPU is also a good college, but if we compare it with SRM, then SRM is better.
