Which university should I join LPU or Chandigarh university for B.Tech computer Science.

CSE is worth it at Chandigarh University. If you are planning your career at CSE, Chandigarh University is a really good option. This is the best option in North India. Faculty of CSE are good and also know the new technology. Well-equipped labs are available. In terms of placements, Chandigarh University holds the record for "the highest number of campus hosting companies" in the limca record book. Many companies come for placements and most of the students also have placements. Also, they offer good packages for students. Mostly, IT companies come for placement and taking more and more CSE students. Artificial Intelligence at Chandigarh University presents a solid foundation in the principles and technologies that underlie many facets of AI, including logic, knowledge representation, probabilistic models, and machine learning. To save the students from commonly prevalent examination & evaluation related problems, CU offers a mixed blend of external and continual internal evaluation as per internationally accepted scientific Relative Grading System Based on Transparent Unbiased Continuous Evaluation. This is also an appreciable step by CU. The system consist of continues evaluation through properly structured internal evaluation system. All internal and final end semester answer sheets are shown to the students, the students SEE and sign the answer sheets for having agreed for the evaluation.

Typically, IT organizations come for placement and are hiring a growing number of CSE candidates. Chandigarh University's Artificial Intelligence programme provides a solid foundation in the principles and technology that underpin many aspects of AI, including logic, knowledge representation, and probabilistic reasoning. The system consists of a well-structured internal evaluation system that is continually evaluated. Students have presented all internal and final end-of-semester answer sheets, and they must SEE and sign the answer sheets to agree to the evaluation. Chandigarh University offers several specializations under a four-year B.Tech programme. The University conducts a national-level entrance test, namely CUCET for B.Tech admission. Students studying in Class 12 can also apply for CUCET. In addition to this, those having a valid score in JEE Main exam are also eligible to apply for B.Tech admission at CU. Chandigarh University offers several sub-specializations of BE in Computer Science Engineering. All these programmes are categorized under specialized programmes that are offered in collaboration with IBM or TCS. Lovely Professional University was established in 2005, though it is a young University, LPU definitely has made a lot of strides in the past few years. It is recognised by University Grants Commission, National Council for Teachers Education and Council of Architecture. It has various branches from management to fashion design and many more. It is ranked 38 in the field of business management by National institutional ranking framework and ranked 26 in pharmaceutical. Some of the advantages of Lovely professional University is that it has very good infrastructure. One can also get cross cultural exposures as students from different parts of the country study here. Not only that, one of the marine positives in lovely profession university is the opportunities in the co- curricular activities that you get to participate in. Coming to Chandigarh University, it was started in 2012. It also offers degrees in various branches just like Lovely Progression University. It was ranked 16 by outlook India among all engineering colleges in 2017. Regarding placements, Chandigarh University seems to have had some placements with high package but all in all, placements at both Lovely Professional University and Chandigarh University are almost similar but say not up to the par of other top National Institutes. Coming to infrastructure, Lovely Professional University definitely has an edge over Chandigarh University. Also the cultural exposure is definitely more in Lovely Professional University. Then, the co curricular activities are also seemed to be more focused on in lovely professional University. Considering all this, I would say that to choose between these Universities, one may have to consider the branch that one is interested in. As Lovely Professional University has been ranked well in the field of management and Pharmacy, I would suggest that University if you are interested in those two branches. Again if you are interested in engineering, then I'd suggest Chandigarh University as it is ranked well in that field. So to say which university is better than the other is difficult as both universities have their own pros and cons so it comes down to which department or branch of studies you are interested in.

<p>From my personal experience, I would definitely recommend Chandigarh University for B.Tech in</p><p>Computer Science. The university offers BE and not B.Tech. It's located near three IT Hubs of</p><p>Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkul making it easy for students because they don't need to relocate. The</p><p>CSE programme is ABET and NBA accredited, so the degree is globally recognized. There are many</p><p>specializations like AI, ML, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing that students can choose in later</p><p>semesters. The university focuses on practical learning through live projects, workshops, and hackathons.</p><p>The placement record is amazing, with many students getting offers from top companies like Amazon, </p><p>Microsoft, and IBM. Scholarships, quality education, helpful faculty, and strong management make the</p><p>experience smooth and worth it. Chandigarh University has also gained many top rankings and opened a</p><p>new AI campus in Lucknow. For CSE, it's definitely a top choice in North India</p>
