    IAS and IPS are Indian Civil services. It is considered as the top most services in Indian government. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. This is the qualification prescribed for Officers such as District Collectors, District Magistrates, Additional Secretaries, Chief secretaries etc. An IAS officer will start his career as
    Asst. Collector(Trainee) and may reach the top most position of Chief Secretary.
