LPU believes in a hassle free education whether it is regarding academics, finances or security. The all round development is of strategic importance for LPU. The LPU residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Students have opportunity to become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. It us the safest a and the most secure campus with a number of cameras and security personnel. LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. Dear Sukhwinder, I don't know the hostel facilities of Amity and SRM but being alumni of LPU I would like to share the hostel facilities at LPU. Each hostel has its own entrance and exit, dedicated Wardens, Maintenance staff, Mess, Tuck Shop, and what not. Apart from all the leisure in the LPU Hostels, there are few restrictions and strict for the safety and security concerns. LPU residential services are considered as one the largest in INDIA. Now comes to your answer:
Common room equipped with cable TV. Ambulance service.
24 X 7 Power Supply
24 X 7 water supply. Water cooler with a water purifier for safe drinking water.

Student needs to post the request on the UMS for weekend outing and avail the due permission from parents & warden for the same. The accommodation at LPU is apartment style. Here are few highlights:

2. Clean & Green Environment
3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater.
4. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser.
5 AC rooms are also available in the above category.

7. Laundry facility
8. Gym facility to remain fit
9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus.

I personally believe, hostels should be secure nowadays and there should have restrictions on students to maintain some kind of discipline. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside the campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM.
4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for a night out with the written permission of the Warden & Parents.
5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above-mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of the day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in a controlled environment. Campus Security Surveillance :
1) LPU campus is equipped with 6500+ CCTV surveillance a 24X7. Which adds more security.

Yes definitely there are some cons of it too. (1) RULES: Living life on others terms is however not everyone cup of tea. So you must go through the brochure before joining the hostel to understand their terms and conditions. (2) Little independence. Living in a hostel can give you a feeling of dependency. And every student who wants to feel like an independent adult hates that feeling. (3) Little privacy. Introverts are everywhere. And of course, who doesn't love a private space. But if you are choosing hostel then there are few or no chances that you are going to get any personal space because that is what hostel is you are forever going to be surrounded by the crowd.
