Whose hostel facilities are better LPU, Amity or SRM?

Hi LPU believes in a hassle free education whether it is regarding academics, finances or security. The all round development is of strategic importance for LPU. The LPU residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Students have opportunity to become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. It us the safest a and the most secure campus with a number of cameras and security personnel. All things of amenity are provided from the tuck shops of the campus as well as the room itself has the required essentials. The evening events add a dash of flavor to the LPU hostel life. LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket. 5. Indoor stadium for swimming, gyming, and learning various exciting games6. Flexible timing to visit Unimall, library and work at innovation studio7. Due to students from across the country, students are getting interacted with them and capturing various positive vibes in terms of language and knowledge sharing. 8. In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the occupants of that room.

Dear Sukhwinder, I don't know the hostel facilities of Amity and SRM but being alumni of LPU I would like to share the hostel facilities at LPU. Each hostel has its own entrance and exit, dedicated Wardens, Maintenance staff, Mess, Tuck Shop, and what not. Apart from all the leisure in the LPU Hostels, there are few restrictions and strict for the safety and security concerns. LPU residential services are considered as one the largest in INDIA. Now comes to your answer: Common room equipped with cable TV. Ambulance service. 24 X 7 Power Supply 24 X 7 water supply. Water cooler with a water purifier for safe drinking water. 24 X 7 Security. Wi-Fi Connectivity. ATMs within the hostel. CCTV Support. Tuck shops within the Hostels. Many eating joints are nearby Hostels within the walking distance. Photostat (Xerox) shop is available within the hostel building. 24 X 7 Maintenance support staff. Etc. I think my answer will definitely help you. Thanks!

LPU has the largest residential capacity in the world. In order to ensure proper safety and security of the children. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. LPU has a set of rules regarding hostel life and its facilities. LPU provides convenience to your doorstep but expects proper adhering to their discipline structure and code of conduct. 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules. Hostel Rules: 1) Boys are allowed to go outside campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 2) Hostellers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. 3) Girls have to enter their specific hostels in specified time duration ie 7 pm. Special Permission will be extended to student for day/night out with the written permission of Warden & Parents. Student needs to post the request on the UMS for weekend outing and avail the due permission from parents & warden for the same. The accommodation at LPU is apartment style. Here are few highlights: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the above category. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 11. There are general facilities such as :dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at university campus.

There have been numerous Universities in the country that has beautiful campuses and also offer some of the best hostels in the country. I personally believe, hostels should be secure nowadays and there should have restrictions on students to maintain some kind of discipline. Like day scholars or even outsider should not be allowed in hostels. Keeping in mind all of these points, LPU is one of the nicest campuses in the country, I know as per my experience which offers everything which one needs on the campus. One must look into the below points for consideration if they become a student of the LPU. 1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of to such rules. 2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside the campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for a night out with the written permission of the Warden & Parents. 5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above-mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of the day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in a controlled environment. Campus Security Surveillance : 1) LPU campus is equipped with 6500+ CCTV surveillance a 24X7. Which adds more security. 2) 400+ Security Officials are there. LPU security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. That's it from my side hope this will help. Hi, Certainly I have been a part of it for so long. How can one forget the hostel life the gossips with friends. Being an alumnus of LPU, let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! The greenery makes for a great learning environment and promotes creativity! The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Students have opportunity to become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. The University has its very own fire station department. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. With facilities like swimming pool, warm up pool, shooting range, squash court, badminton court, a volleyball court, basketball court etc. At 50% subsidized fee. LPU provides APARTMENTS STYLE HOUSING with an IN HOUSE MENTOR SUPPORT and 24 hrs MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. Along with it has its own indoor stadium, gym, in-house laundry and meal plans, what else you need! Yes definitely there are some cons of it too. (1) RULES: Living life on others terms is however not everyone cup of tea. So you must go through the brochure before joining the hostel to understand their terms and conditions. (2) Little independence. Living in a hostel can give you a feeling of dependency. And every student who wants to feel like an independent adult hates that feeling. (3) Little privacy. Introverts are everywhere. And of course, who doesn't love a private space. But if you are choosing hostel then there are few or no chances that you are going to get any personal space because that is what hostel is you are forever going to be surrounded by the crowd.
