wht is a difference between b.com hons and b.com professional?

B.Com (H) is an undergraduate degree designed to inculcate business acumen in students. The course curriculum includes subjects like cost accounting, organizational behaviour and then one can specialize in fields like accounts and economics. You can also pursue courses like Chartered Accountancy along with your B.Com. You can better your skills by pursuing post graduation courses like MBA or M.Com. The course is similar to B.Com (H). The difference lies in the fact that you can specialize in a certain subject in B.Com (H), but the B.Com (P) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in the honours course. You can pursue higher education after your graduation. You can pursue courses like MBA or M.Com. Compared to the honours course, the job opportunities are a little less, after pursuing this course.

1.B.Com: This is the flagship course that was introduced across most universities in the 1970s and is still the main course. The program offers courses in Accounts, Economics, Management, Laws and Taxation, and the eligibility is HSC in Commerce, and Maths as a subject in school is not mandatory. 2. B.Com (Hons): This course is being offered in 2 variants. First, it is offered at B.Com (Hons ) and for this, it is mandatory to have Maths at the time of admission, and merit for this course is highest. This course demands a higher level of understanding of Maths, thereby making it slightly more difficult than the normal B.Com. Second, some universities allow a B.Com students to opt for honours by studying an additional subject like Marketing, Finance or Human Resources in each year, and the degree in that course to be awarded will be B.Com (Hons). 3. B.Com Professional: This course is in circulation now for almost a decade. This course has been introduced with an objective to improve the employability of a student, so the subjects include marketing, computers, tally accounting, seminars and summer training project. This course is ideal for students who want to opt for employment immediately after graduation.
