HR is a field where both male and females have equal opportunity. I don't agree to the fact that MBA in HR is for girls. For those who says that they have been living under a rock for the past few decades. HR is a field where communication and interpersonal skills plays a critical role. When there is a statement that MBA in HR is for girls its unfair, if you look at the leading MNC's across the globe their HR department consists of highly efficient and dynamic male and female HR professionals.
So the answer is that MBA in HR is one of the demanded course of education. The scope of job opportunities and career opportunities are very vas

    Hi,
This has become a general concept of people that MBA in HR is meant for girls. This fact has nothing to do with your real professional life. It has to be your interest area be it Sales or HR.
Mainly, the reason behind this is HR being an in-house job and is more preferred by girls in India which has tilted the graph towards them.

It is complete absurd that MBA in HR is for girls. There is not any tagline. Think from organizational employer point of view that what they actually want. As a HR person, you need to be a good listener (Yes, sometimes you need to listen to personal problems of employees) and great at organizing. There are both strategic and tactical activities of HR. Some tactical things might favor a female presence. But most of the other things are common to both. A human resource manager need not run for searching employees, he has to just shortlist the candidates who have applied for a job on different posts. He also has a number of responsibiliti

It is like a saying that HR is all about Girls. To contradict the statement I believe that with growing importance of HR and how the term has changed in years and has got a very strong meaning in present this is open to everyone. With growing day discussions on work life balance and discussions on how to develop friendly conditions for working employee it is highly necessary to have an efficient HR team so that they can't be not only responsible for acquisition but also for better work life conditions.
Today, boys are also as much into HR as girls as they stream is highly attractive with the pay scale as well as the work it provides. I

Since ages, it has been said that MBA in HR is for girls. Some reasons to say that is that when compared with a male, a female is having a high observing power and they are good at judging people as compared to male. Also the job of HR is somehow better for a lady candidate as its better to work on desk, they go on field and do marketing and sales but said all this we can see that currently many higher positions in HR are occupied by male candidates and similarly females are doing sales and finance so we can't really agree and say that MBA in HR is for girls although it is still preferred by them.

HR has to be a girl's job is a myth. The orthodoxy patterns of society which are made to be followed from the beginning itself girls are told to get a safe job and lead a normal life follow the pattern that is set. HR also is said to be a girls job because what a HR person does has to listen to the grievances of her employees and take care of the recruitment process, she/he has to take the front seat anywhere the compact is represented and being a girl it always follows that soft skills are better in girls than that in boys.
Hence she would prove better HR personnel than a boy but surely if a boy eliminating these set barriers chooses

MBA with specialisation in human resource management is a stream which is very demanding and requires skills like communication skills, negotiating skills, inter-personal relationship, handling of grey colour, and also handling the grievances of the employees by offering them a suitable work environment of their choice.
So, it is a myth that MBA in HR is only for girls. Nowadays, there has been a shift in the trend, male candidates are also opting for HR stream as well. So, it overruled the statement that it is only for girls. According to a survey, boys have surpassed the girls in the terms of no. of candidates pursuing HR. So, it must
