Why does Lovely Professional University have such a bad reputation?

I don't know who says this that LPU has bad reputation. LPU is the best place for the students to study along with international students who seek holistic development and quality education. I'll tell you some things about the university being a student at LPU. Hi there, Well, you have heard it wrong! I have been studying at LPU from past four years and I would like to correct you. Lovely Professional University is having a good reputation, got top rankings from many agencies. Ranked 38th among Best Business Management School of India and 26th among top Pharmacy Colleges of India by NIRF. Even I am a student of LPU and have not seen anything in the campus that leads to bad reputation. They are really working hard on students to provide them best placements. I have seen the top MNCs visiting LPU for recruitment purpose. I can explain you with an example, For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick market ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. Everyone knows the fact that same MNC will never visit next to university if they will not get the required candidate means technically strong, confidence, having practical knowledge and other parameters. So, if cognizant is visiting again and again to LPU and hiring students in bulk that means company is getting the type of candidates they want. So, those candidates are being prepared like that by LPU only, through PEP classes, industry oriented curriculum and exposure. And it not only about cognizant, there are many other MNCs that visits LPU for campus placement drives every year. Tech Mahindra hired 250 students in one go, which is the highest for any campus drive conducted by Tech Mahindra and many more examples are there. They really have those kind of labs that make the student market ready. At LPU, we have industry-sponsored labs from Google, Oracle, SAP where we work on real life projects. This industry experience make cracking job interviews much easy. One should really not believe on rumors, it is really one of the few top universities which is a good choice for better future. I don't think so, I am a student of LPU, and being very honest I have never faced any troll or any bad comments regarding LPU in fact I am very proud of the fact LPU is in the top 200 universities globally ranked 2nd in India and only 3 universities made it to that list of Times Higher education Impact 2021. which is a huge thing. How can any university have a bad reputation that is ranked first in India for focus on affordable and clean energy as per Times Higher Education impact rankings 2021? How can LPU have a bad reputation if it is ranked No. 2 among Indian B-Schools in 'Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF ranking released by MHRD. How it can have a bad reputation if it is ranked among the top 20 Universities of India in Pharmacy under Research and Practice parameter. Plus India first Private University to get ICAR Accreditation I think this says a lot already. And let me tell you a fact that LPU is the favorite landing place of many leading companies for recruitment. It has many top rankings in placements also. That's all from my side :). .

I was part of BBA-MBA course batch 20112016. So lets say like this our college life started when this University was quite young as it started in 2006. Lets talk about experience: Lovely Professional University claims to be one of the best and the largest universities in India. It has been perpetually ranked as a top university in various areas like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, etc. There are many reasons to consider Lovely Professional University a good University. 1. The university is having world-class infrastructure with modern amenities. 3. The quality of education provided at an affordable cost with various scholarship programs provides opportunities to every talent individuals. 4. As per my knowledge LPU is one of the well renowned university in India. Campus Without a doubt, it's a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students. The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for be it Food Canteens, Gym and Parks. Courses LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech, MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B. Are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. Faculty Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student. Placements On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.

As per my knowledge,All the university are doing good in their own way. Rather than comparing, we should check the university which caters all round development of student. I would suggest you to check the following before finalizing the institute: 1. Rankings 2. Faculty 3. Pedagogy used 4. International exposure 5. Tech-savvy last but not the least Placements All the institutes are doing great in education but Being a alumni of LPU,I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: #LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. #Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. # Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. #LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. #The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculties.
