    Hello,
    I understand there has been a sharp decline in the volume of candidates joining Mass - recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys etc, but as a close observer of the entire scenario, I would not consider this to be an outcome of lack of popularity, but is mostly because of volatile market conditions.
    Because of the current volatile market conditions, most of those mass - recruiting companies have had to reduce the manpower. This has resulted in an increased bench strength or waiting list of the company. It now becomes the responsibility of the company to ensure that these employees are allotted a domain before hiring new candidates. T

    Yes, it is a crucial fact that now the IT students are showing unwillingness to join the companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture as a part of mass recruiting. The following could be the possible reason:
    (#) Now, the IT students want to choose the field and specialize in it. In the companies like TCS and Infosys, they hire the IT graduates in bulk. Hence, some of the IT students may not get the desired designation. And thus, they find it difficult to adapt in that culture.

    There has been a fall in popularity for the students to join these companies due to many reasons.
