Why is the ILICAT exam conducted?

The ILICAT exam is conducted for admission to a one-year LL. M. course and Ph.D. programme at the Indian Law Institute, Delhi. This exam is conducted annually in offline mode. The ILICAT question paper consists of 144 questions worth 180 marks. Around four of the 144 questions are of the descriptive variety. To apply for this exam, you need a LL.B. Degree with a minimum 50% score or equivalent. The notification for this exam is usually out in the month of January, and ILICAT is conducted in April. The exam patterns for the LL. ILICAT 2022 also known as the Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test LL. M. and Ph.D. application form was available in the third week of July 2022. This exam is held once a year at the national level by the Indian Law Institute (ILI) to enroll eligible candidates in law courses. Candidates who pass the Indian Law Institute All Indian Common Admission Test can enroll in LL. M, Post Graduate Diploma Programs, Online Certificate Programs, and Ph.D. in Law programmes.
