    In my opinion, there are two key factors that contribute to Digital Marketing's higher return on investment compared to Traditional Marketing:
    When compared to more conventional forms of advertising, the low overhead of digital marketing is hard to beat. The internet is a global marketplace where advertising is cheap and accessible to anyone. Measurement is simple with digital marketing. In contrast to traditional marketing, where results are less easily quantified, digital marketing allows for a more thorough examination of each campaign's success or failure.     ROI in digital marketing is higher than traditional marketing due to following reasons:-
    1. You can target a bigger audience, be native audience, niche or international audience targeting.
    2. Demographic targeting is feasible based on the user behavior on the web. Thus marketers get a good chance to focus on supported demographics, like gender, location, age and interests. Thus, creating our campaigns even more practical. Online audience has to opt in and opt whereas, traditional marketing doesn't provide the audience a alternative. Section users based on their preference.

    Return on investment in digital marketing is higher because more people are relying on the web for information about businesses instead of on traditional newspaper ads, TV commercials and radio broadcasts. In US alone, over 70% consumers search products and/or services. In India, 35% of the total population has access to Internet. India will have over 500 million Internet users by 2017. According to a survey conducted by Internet and Mobile Association of India and Times Internet Limited, Smartphone users spend 72% of their total time spent on phone for surfing the web pages.
