  • Yes, CBSE Board will conduct exams twice in a year, the first set in December - January 2024 and the second set in February - March 2025.

This opportunity is given to students to reduce their exam stress. If a candidate is satisfied with his score in the first set of exam he can choose not to take the second set of exams. Or the candidate can choose a second set of exams directly if he wants time for preparation, or he can choose to take both set of exams and select the best score from both of them

According to the Ministry of Education, Board exams will be conducted twice a year from the academic session 2025-26 and students will be allowed to retain their best scores. However, state and national boards are yet to release any official notification regarding the same. The MoE also mentioned that students will have to study two languages in Classes 11 and 12 where one language has to be Indian. The Boards will issue books according to the new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the session 2025.
