Currently, board exams are given annually at the end of classes X and XII. According to the Ministry of Education, CBSE will conduct the CBSE 10th Board exams twice a year from the academic session 2025-26 and students will be allowed to retain their best scores. CBSE Class 12 exam 2026 will be held just once a year between February 17 and April 4, 2026.
