The Ministry of Education (MoE) has planned to change the curriculum structure, and the Centre stated that the board exams will now take place twice a year from 2025-26. Students will have the opportunity to take tests twice a year and raise their grades as a result of this. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020's proposals, which seek to lessen the burden on students and support their holistic development, are in line with this action taken by the central government. Exams will be simplified and made more application-based in order to foster students' capacity for critical and creative thinking and abilities.
