    Hello,
    Percentage obtained in Bachelors degree would be calculated on the basis of practice followed by the concerned university/institution. In case of grades/CGPA, the conversion would be based on the process defined by the concerned university/ institution. In absence of any percentage conversion scheme, candidates CGPA will be divided by maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelors degree/equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply for CAT. Thank you.

    Any student from any degree in their undergraduate can apply for CAT exam.

    Yes, it is not compulsory to have any specific stream for CAT exam, if you have B.Com. There is no issue, you can apply for the exam.

    You will be eligible for CAT exam only if you have a minimum of 50 % in your graduation and with no backlogs.

    Eligibility
    Here are the eligibility criteria for CAT 2017:
    The candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PWD/DA category).

CAT is one of the accepting exams required for admission to PGDM programme. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with a valid score in any other accepted entrance exams such as MAT, XAT or CMAT can also get admission in PGDM. Selected aspirants also have to pass the case-based group discussion and a personal interview round for final admission.

The CUSAT CAT passing marks for the BTech exam is 10 marks in maths and 10 marks in physics and chemistry combined. However, Kerala SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum passing mark.
