Will I be eligible to apply for the govt. jobs after doing B.Ed from IGNOU? I am planing to do B.Ed from IGNOU through correspondence.

I have done M.Sc in chemistry from NEHU with 64.5% & have a teaching experience of more than 16 years in in ICSE, CBSE school.

    Hi Ratanadip,
    You are eligible for applying B.Ed correspondence course from IGNOU. Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in entrance-cum-admission form. You can already have teaching experiences so there is no need of NCTE course. Yes, IGNOU B.Ed course is valid for Pvt. and Govt. job. For more details, you can see this website: www.ignou.ac.in
