It entirely depends upon the programme you are seeking admission in as the eligibility criteria is programme specific. Moreover there are various programmes in LPU where you can take direct admission e. g BBA BCA B.Com etc. Whereas for other Programs qualifying LPU NEST is prime requisite.

LPU NEST is mandatory in some degree programs, e. g. if you are applying for B.Tech, MBA degree programs then LPU NEST is mandatory but without LPU NEST you are not eligible for some degree programs such as B.A. BBA etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory, admission is possible on the basis of previous qualifications. The LPU NEST 2022 exam pattern consists of multiple choice questions (MCQ). The LPU NEST 2022 exam template consists of a total of 4 subjects viz. Physics Chemistry Mathematics/Biology and English . LPU NEST is neither easy nor very difficult. If you work hard and are familiar with the topics covered in LPU NEST you will definitel

Hi. Marks Required - Should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam with 60% aggregate marks in Physics Mathematics and English . If more than 90% has been secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam, then they will not have to meet the LPU NEST and JEE Main qualification criteria and can apply for direct admissions.

Yes, you can get direct admission in LPU after 12 with 65% marks. Lovely Professional University provides approximately 40+ disciplines after 12std. At LPU, the eligibility requirements for individual programmes vary. Some programs just required passing grades on the qualifying marks while others required 50 or 60 percent with some mandatory subjects with them. You can check the eligibility criteria and scholarships on the website of LPU. Apart from this you can appear in the LPU NEST exam to get the most scholarship amount. I hope this will be helpful
    Thankyou.

Yes, you can get direct admission in LPU with 65% marks in the 12th class in various programmes such as BCA BBA B.A. BPA B.A. B.Com. , etc. However, if you are looking for the B.Tech programme, then you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English Maths and Physics. Moreover, you have to qualify for the either LPU NEST exam or should have a minimum of 85 percentile in the JEE Mains exam.

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.
