Will I get placement if I've under 60% in 12th but scored good marks in CSE? What should I do to increase my opportunities of getting hired?

I've heard that most companies set a criteria of 60% marks in class 12th for hiring. I belong to an average college (1st year). What are my chances of in-campus and off-campus placement?

Nowadays, marks in class 12th don't matter if you have done good in your academic year. See, there are two ways of getting a job. First, pursue B.Tech from a good college like IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, LPU, Thapar, VIT or SRM and get placed in a good company with good package. As you have mentioned that you are studying in an average college, but you have opted for a g9ood branch. With 2-3 years of work experience, you can surely get a good salary package.
