Will LPU be the best option to pursue mechanical engineering?

LPU is good for mechanical engineering. Last year, the maximum salary package offered was 11.19 LPA by Voltas.

Shivam, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Tech Mahendra, Voltas,etc come for recruitment purpose. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered packages between 11-12 lacs pa. Dear Shivam, Yes, LPU will be the best option to pursue mechanical engineering. Many of my friends did B.Tech in ME at LPU and settled in their life. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. Few points told by my brother who did his studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. Lovely Professional University provides several programs that include B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons. ), a dual degree programme for B.Tech and M.Tech and B.Tech and MBA and integrated programs like B.Tech and MBA and B.Tech and M.Tech. Here at LPU, you can get enrolled in any stream as per your interest and choice. Every year many students join the various engineering courses that are offered by LPU. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering Physics engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. As far as Mechanical engineering is concerned, I can tell you this course carries extra baggage and it is very fruitful if you choose LPU as a medium. I would like to share their experiences:- A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. Many people have their views that LPU students study less but to complete the statement, I would say that the students work hard. There are more than 100 companies that are coming in LPU for recruitment of mechanical students. The packages varies from 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum. On an average, the packages are 5 Lacs in a very core company which gradually sees a couple of rapid promotions based on your handwork. Students have got top packages from leading tech companies. Hi Shivam, LPU is certainly one of the best option for mechanical engineering. The LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. It is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) If Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He should have the Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. Hello Shivam, had the same question when I was looking out for college for my B.Tech I was confused between Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and Lovely Professional University Phagwara. But after discussions, thinking, and recommendations from my relatives ( Allummni of LPU) I joined LPU. It was actually a great decision. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for engineering. I have not faced any kind of disappointment at any phase. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. My Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life.
