The 200-minute NEET exam is paper-and-pencil based and consists of 200 multiple-choice (MCQ) questions of an objective nature. One must attempt 180 of these questions. The exam has a total score of 720. Each question has four possible responses. For every right response, four marks are awarded, while for every incorrect response, one score is deducted. Questions that are not attempted or are attempted more than once will not result in a failing grade.

NEET is a paper-pencil-based-test of 200 minutes duration and carries 200 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) in total. Out of this, 180 questions have to be attempted. The total marks of the exam is 720. Each question has four answer options. Each correct answer fetches four marks and there is one mark negative marking for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions or extra attempted questions.
