    According to Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) rules, the security deposit amount is forfeited in two cases:
    1: When a student who has been allotted a seat in the 2nd or subsequent rounds does not join the respective institution or vacates their medical seat due to any reason.
    2: When a student provides incorrect information during registration, causing the admissions authorities to cancel their seat. Also, candidates do not need to report to or join the allotted college for Round 1 as there is an option of a free exit.
