No, the candidates need to complete the one-time registration to participate in JoSAA counselling. There will be five rounds of counselling. During these rounds, candidates will be assigned seats based on their JEE Main or JEE Advanced rank and their preferences provided during registration. Candidates who will receive seat allotments must either accept the offered seat or choose to float the seat, indicating their willingness to participate in subsequent rounds for better options.
