After completing a 3 years degree course in 5 years, can 1 expect a call from IIM even after scoring a very high percentile in CAT 2017?

It depends upon the IIM you are targeting, every IIM has different criteria to select students and give different weightage to the graduation marks. Having said that, if there is a genuine reason why you were not able to complete your degree in time, it can be taken into consideration because there are high chances that even if you are able to crack CAT and sit for an IIM interview this question can be asked. Prepare your answer well. Don't lose hope and start preparing for CAT, the sky has limits. All the very best!!
