Am I eligible to take admission in LPU university if I scored 60% in 12th?

LPU is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. Looking at the situation of covid-19, lpu has relaxed their eligibility norms. For majority of the programmes LPU NEST is not a mandate. Hello Simran, you are very much eligible to take admission in LPU as eligibility for most of the programmes is 60 percent. For certain programmes one has to qualify LPU NEST while for others one does not have to. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). One can get a LPU NEST kit that consists of a University Information Brochure containing details of Infrastructure, Global Character, Placements, Academics, Student services, Campus life etc. LPU NEST Booklet comprising details of Programmes applicable, Eligibility, Fee and Scholarship, Schedule of Test, Question Paper Pattern, Test Cities etc. Applicants may obtain LPU NEST Kit from University Campus or admission office or any other prescribed place by paying cash. LPU is offering more than 200 courses. There are many courses in which you can take admission even you have less than 60% marks in your board exams. Moreover it depends on the course in which you want to take admission in LPU. As the eligibility criteria varies from course to course. For some courses, pass in 12th is the eligibility and for some 50-60% marks are required in order to take admission and LPU NEST to be qualified (LPU offers there own Entrance and Scholarship Test). .
