In fact the University has separate Division for placements which is called as Division of Career Services. Special attention is being paid towards placement drives and the PEP (Placement enhancement programme) has been introduced which is driven towards enhancing skill set, verbal ability, enriching CV and personality development, thereby making students capable enough to sit in a placement drive and secure good package. PU provides PEP classes from the very first year, in which you will have classes related to your core, aptitude, communication skills, and group discussion. In short, whatever is required for any company to get placed, all the classes will be provided to you. The benefit is that you will be prepared till your pre-final year of the programme as from the pre-final year companies will start visiting for the placements. Because of its well-known staff and a great track record of placement, LPUs placement position has improved year after year. To begin, you must first enroll for the placement classes. After that, you must maintain your attendance in placement classes. Later on, you will have to follow all of the company regulations and processes. Any placement campaign will be kept up to date by your training and placement officer. Once the students have opted for placement that they have to pay placement fees. The fees include PEP classes and Industrial preparation courses like Aptitude, Soft skills enhancement and Interviews, coding and other core subjects classes.
