As a part of LPU, I would say that it is the best University that one can join. LPU has helped me grow professionally and also help in providing exposure in terms of placements, internships, workshops, guest lectures, etc. I am saying this as per my experience at LPU. Quality of education, placements and well being of the students are the prime focus of LPU. Scholarships, placements, exposure to industry, international internships and placements efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies, infrastructure and diverse culture make LPU unmatchable. LPU provides opportunities to students to avail Intern

The Civil Engineering programme at LPU prepares students to take on a variety of jobs. At the same time, it gives them the requisite knowledge and practical experience to take on jobs that allow them to create safe living environments and rebuild communities after the onslaught of natural disasters. The aim of the department of civil engineering at LPU is to ensure that graduates will have a mastery of fundamental knowledge, problem-solving skills, engineering experimental abilities, and design capabilities necessary for entering civil engineering career and/or pursuing higher studies and to prepare students to enter a modern civil eng

Unilab-Mechanical Testing of Building and Construction Materials Lab of School of Civil Engineering is now NABL Accredited by Quality Council of India (QCI). This makes LPU the only private university in the country to bag the prestigious accreditation.

Civil engineer helps design and create buildings, infrastructure and other large-scale structural projects. Mechanical and civil engineering are very popular yet unique engineering fields. Both are very wide in scope and also share some common grounds. In the area of fluid mechanics and hydraulics, both overlap a great deal. I would like to say that LPU offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.

To get admission into the PhD programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), here's how the process works:

You must meet the eligibility criteria: typically a Master's degree in a relevant field with minimum 55% aggregate marks (UGC norms) or equivalent. In certain disciplines, candidates with a 4‑year Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of industry / teaching / research experience and 75% marks may also apply. However, candidates with certain valid qualifications are exempt from the entrance test: e.g. those who have cleared UGC‑NET/JRF, CSIR‑NET/JRF, GATE, GPAT or have done M.Phil (in regular mode). In their case, selection is ba

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
