A civil engineer helps design and create buildings, infrastructure and other large-scale structural projects. Mechanical and civil engineering are very popular yet unique engineering fields. Both are very wide in scope and also share some common grounds. In the area of fluid mechanics and hydraulics, both overlap a great deal. I would like to say that LPU offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc.
    1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.
    2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on t

I always recommend LPU when it comes to engineering programmes. The Civil Engineering programme at LPU prepares students to take on a variety of jobs. At the same time, it gives them the requisite knowledge and practical experience to take on jobs that allow them to create safe living environments and rebuild communities after the onslaught of natural disasters. The aim of the department of civil engineering at LPU is to ensure that graduates will have a mastery of fundamental knowledge, problem-solving skills, engineering experimental abilities, and design capabilities necessary for entering civil engineering career and/or pursuing hi

Hello Sameeksha, I have done engineering from LPU and I have a lot of friends from the civil branch and they all are placed in good sectors with great packages. Students are placed in companies like Cleanmax Solar, Al Rakha (UAE), Dharam Consulting, Era Infra Engineering Ltd. , KEC International, Simplex, WSP India, XL Dynamics, CVENT, Rishishwar Construction, Premier Developers and Contractors, etc. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. Hi
Since the beginning of the creation, when someone placed a roof over his head or laid a tree trunk across a river to cross it, Civil Engineering existed. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing the students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. The school, in coordination with the Division of Career Services, has moved from strength to strength. It has placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant, etc. Studen

There are good numbers of Universities offering this course but I would say LPU is best. I have done MBA from Lovely Professional University and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course, Placements, Curriculum, as they use to share with me. This programme at LPU include a blend of hands-on experiential learning and theoretical foundational courses. The very best include a mix of traditional learning in laboratories and classrooms with cooperative programs that allow students to gain work experience. Others may include independent research with faculty members another good bet for individuals hoping to go directl

Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and probably most crucial branches of engineering. Going by the definition of civil engineering, the subject can be defined as the study, design, development and maintenance of the built environment.
I am not very much sure about the offerings of SRM, but being an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I must say to achieve the goal of becoming SUCCESSFUL Engineer, student must be backed up & prepared well by the professors with Industry driven curriculum. In this regard, I must say LPU is renowned for developing the innovative pedagogy to shape the future of the students in large scale with

The aim of the department of civil engineering at LPU is to ensure that graduates will have a mastery of fundamental knowledge, problem-solving skills, engineering experimental abilities, and design capabilities necessary for entering civil engineering career and/or pursuing higher studies and to prepare students to enter a modern civil engineering workforce and to be successful in their career and profession. If you want to be on a construction site, building, testing, and monitoring developments then you can be. If you prefer to be in the office designing and problem-solving then you can do that too. Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B.Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion. Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technolo

In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too.
