No, you have to clear JEE Advance for the eligibility of filling form for AAT.
You have to secure good rank in AAT to get admission in one of the two IITs.
All the best for your bright future.

    Hi Mohini,
Yes, you can definitely get admission in IIT-Kharagpur and IITR after having rank 2428 (general) and 536 (OBC). You may even get IIT-Kanpur or IIT-Bombay. But there, you will not get good branches.

The admission to IIT architectural courses is done through JEE Advanced not JEE Mains. People who qualify for JEE Advanced have the option to appear for a separate architectural aptitude test conducted after the announcement of the JEE Advanced results based on which the allotment of seats is done there. Through JEE Mains paper 2, you can apply for other institutes like SPA, BIT Mesra, etc., for the architectural courses.

For doing B.Arch from IIT, firstly, you need to clear JEE Mains paper 2. After that, you need to clear JEE Advanced and finally AAT (Architecture Aptitude test). As per your rank in AAT, you will get an IIT.
But I would like to tell you that only 2 IITs, IIT-Roorkee and IIT-Kharagpur offer B.Arch.

I must say that your rank is very good but for IITs you must clear JEE Mains paper 1 and JEE Advanced and then AAT. But don't get disappointed, you have a very good score for NITs.

    Hi friend,
To secure a seat in top IITs, one needs to score a rank under 1000 which are IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagour. This corresponding to marks of 300+ for IITs. Majorly B.Arch Admission happen through JEE Mains. A rank of near to 3000 is must to secure seat into top NITs for Architecture. This corresponds to marks of 250+. The ranks may vary as per marks on basis of difficulty level of paper, and total Students appeared. Side by side you can go through net searching on different websites. If may you can achieve your admission.

You are not eligible for IITs. First you have to give the JEE advance exam and if you get a rank under 5000 general category then you would get an IIT.
