Dear Kavitha,
LPU is a premier university of India with top placements, world-class infrastructure and faculty. There are more than 200 courses in the university. Each course has certain eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by a candidate to get admission. For example, if you want to take admission in Diploma course a candidate must have 50% marks in 10th. Similarly for B.Tech a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th (PCM) and qualify LPU NEST/JEE Mains. So dear candidate it depends upon your choice of course to study in LPU. For more information, I suggest you to go to the university website www.lpu.in and call the university...more -
Dear Kavitha, The only way to get into B.Tech at LPU without LPU NEST / JEEMAINS is to score above 90% in 10+2 with maths, physics and English. But you can still apply for LPU NEST and take provisional admission online. Due to Covid related lockdown, LPU has turned the whole process online and the even the test is being proctored remotely. So it is perfectly safe for you. Engineering is flagship programme of LPU, last year more than 700 companies have visited the campus for recruitment and placed thousands of students. From average package of 5.4 LPA to the highest package of 42 LPA, it has broken all the records possible in placements...more

Hello!
Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. LPU runs around 200+ programs and each programme has different eligibility. You will be glad to that LPU has taken an initiative during pandemic of COVID-19 that they have relaxed their eligibility criteria for admission for batch 2020. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPU NEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only...more -

You have not mentioned the course which you want to pursue. There are courses like BTechs where the LPU NEST or JEEMains is mandatory. But there are many other courses which do not need LPU NEST. If you are talking about engineering courses then you will have to give LPU NEST. First you can apply for admission and then book your LPU NEST. The syllabus and paper pattern is given on the website of LPU. LPU NEST is being conducted in an online proctored mode due to the grim condition of the country due to covid. This might give you a higher scale of scholarship also. Best for you would be to browse the website of LPU : www.lpu.in and ch...more -

Please specify the course you want to pursue as LPU NEST is compulsory for some programs and optional for a few others. However, you can avail scholarship by appearing for LPU NEST in every programme. Also, if you score minimum 80 percentile in JEE Mains, then you will be exempted to give LPU NEST and can get direct admission and scholarship on your JEE score. All the best.
